Songs were covered by the following bands: Vile, Cro-Mags, Fear, Yuppicide, Devo, Badbrains, Reagan Youth, 7 Seconds, Clitboys, Crucifix, Zero Boys,The Bruisers, Angry Samonas, The Dogs, D.I., Germs, Adolescents, Peter & The Test Tube Babies, The Dictators and Toxic Reason.

Each single song was recorded in a different line-up, each led by a great frontman of famous hardcore punk bands from around the world. Singers, some of whom are already legends in the scene, took it on the task of reinterpreting songs by their own heroes, which are the reasons why they decided to become musicians themselves. The project and idea of reviving classic hardcore punk songs was a great adventure for all involved. None of the musicians wanted or took money for their engagement, which shows solidarity in the hardcore punk scene and the slogan "Social Hardcore Lives" is still valid. That is why the initiators of the project saw no other option but to baptize this compilation "Hardcore Connection".
